Easy Black Bean Dip

Serves: 6 - 8 servings
- 2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 small onion, cut into quarters
- 1 small fresh jalapeƱo, seeded with stem and membranes removed
- 1 heaping tablespoon pickled jalapeƱos
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 roma tomatoes, cut into quarters
- ¼ cup cilantro leaves
- juice of one lime (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- pinch of chili powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Put everything into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- You may need to use a spatula to encourage everything to move towards the blades at first but once it gets going it should be fine.
- Serve with chips or your favorite veggies.
